This was good, I'm such a sap too and picked the same choice of wanting to help him. After all, the consequences have yet to be fully explained. I have the same attitude towards love. I think that in future games, Lavellan will be able to do something that will have an impact. I can't play DAI with any other race or character because, to me and for the story, this is the best cannon for future games. I think you'd like my fanfics. This is EXACTLY how I headcannon it. Of he was almost ready to abandon everything for her, I'm 10000 percent sure she's ready to abandon everything for him. Beautifully written and definitely helped the heartache, if only a little.
