well, if you really wanna make up to Guiche, you could send him away to another world to be the protagonist of a crossover story of his own... he might need a world that gives do-overs, Re:Zero maybe. that would keep him going when he dies.

I've never read a Princess Mononoke fanfic before, let alone a crossover; I thought there was nothing to add. This story, though, adds much characterization that fits canon well. My greatest complaint is in the pacing. Events seem to happen quickly, and the plot rushes past character interactions, at least ones that don't involve San and Louise Yeah, they're the main characters, but I always think stories that make every character seem real are better. That bit with Wardes' thoughts was superb, and I'm a bit disappointed in retrospect that Foquet didn't get the same treatment.

Could always make San the protagonist of the harem.

I like your Guiche. And giving him some dry humor and (unwanted) harem sounds fun. And I must say I like your writing style. Oh and if you think something is stupid simply change it. Noone is forcing you to follow the story of ZnT.

Ooops, Wardes just HAD to stick his foot in his mouth their at the end didn't he? And damn you do a good job writing him as a cold bastard. Also, that griffin was completely broken... :(

And yeah, as much as FoZ is one of my Fav anime's it did have quite a few plot holes throughout.

Guiche and Wardes are fantastic in this fic. I love how Guiche never lets his setbacks with women get him down, and he seems to be able to roll with anything. Wardes is written like an actual human being, a man who is doing what he thinks is best. There are too many fics that turn them into monstrous parodies of themselves in order to make the protagonist look better in comparison. The events that drove Wardes to the actions he is taking are never brought up; I've always wanted to write a fic where he is the sympathetic protagonist, a man attempting to gather enough resources and power to make a difference regarding the windstone crisis.

Guiche could use a harem XD He already has the rep for being a ladies man, so it wouldn't be unusual.

Sans has very good chance against Fouquet, she has a whole gang of friends behind her after all.

The anime does indeed not make sense on a lot of parts. Guiche's familiar becomes non-existent, the same with Kirche's salamander.

I really hope that Sans doesn't kill Matilda. If she's a true wolve, then she won't separate Matilda from her family.
