This was a bit short, but you did a good job of showing how much Minato's death affected Jiraiya. This could have used more details to really make it emotional though. Maybe a few scenes of Jiraiya's travels as he tried to cope or more time spent describing Jiraiya's thoughts as Naruto tries to convince him to train him would help. This was a nice concept overall, but it would greatly benefit from some expansion.
