Hi Kaggami-chan! Some bitter guest commented on this chapter with some very uneducated statements. Clearly that person lacks some serious empathy to refuse to acknowledge the depth of a character. I may not know you personally, but I can say pretty confidently that you are not biased. This story's main character is Hitsugaya, of COURSE there's going to be a lot of spotlight on him, but no one in this story is much of a "flat" character.

Also, tanning isn't something that happens in the summer. If the sun is out, no matter how hot it is, tanning can happen. And just because someone has melanin doesn't mean it's from tanning. Hitsugaya most likely naturally has golden skin.

Another thing: I've read fanfictions and he has been in every house. However, you can't just have talent to be a captain. Hitsugaya started his shinigami training at a young age. That in itself is a great show of ambition. Ambition isn't just about hard work. There is also sacrifice involved. If one isn't willing to make sacrifices for their goal, they aren't ambitious.

In addition to that, the lack of understanding and the insensitivity that comment has regarding PTSD scares me. Going through traumatic experiences over and over again, especially when the body and mind haven't fully matured, does not make one a "pussy." PTSD is a mental disorder, not a sign of weakness.

I understand that Hitsugaya is not a real person, so of course everyone has a different perception of his character. There is no right or wrong way to portray him, just different angles. Leaving some wiggle room for writers when portraying a character they didn't create is necessary for us to be good readers.

With all of that being said, I guess I got a little riled up from the review. More importantly, I want you to know that even though it's been over a year since this story has been updated, I still hold interest in this story. If you update it, I can guarantee that I will read it as soon as possible. If you don't update it, I understand where you are coming from. Being a writer is very pressuring and I respect your decision. Whatever you chose, I hope you find happiness along the way.

It started great and with a nice development progress but why the fuck did toshiro suddenly became a pussy with a ptsd problem?

Dementors are weak af compared to arrancars and he can destroy some of those fools. Now you're telling us that he suddenly has nightmares of war even though he's been fighting wars multiple times in his life like it was nothing.

The author is becoming so biased that he didn't even consider that toshiro's original personality is either a ravenclaw or a gryffindor.

He's not even ambitious! He was just too talented that he was given the rank of captain without even trying and even then, he hated it with all the paperworks and his lack of ambition!

Cold? He meant physically cold it's stupid to think that just because he wants cold environment that he'll be with 'cold' students. Fuck! If he wanted cold then the hat would obviously made him a ravenclaw where he'll have his own customized room.

And what's with the stereotype that he wants cold environments? Just because he uses ice, it doesn't mean he wanted cold environments! Why the fuck did you think he'd want cold places even though he's obviously tanned?

Are you telling us now that he was so cold he became tanned you asshat?

I usually don't like cross-overs, especially if they don't make much sense. I never would've thought that Harry Potter and Bleach cross-over would make sense, but this one does. It makes sense that the Soul Society would know about the Wizarding World with the ghosts/pluses that hang out around there. I enjoyed the little howlers that Matsumoto sent Hitsugaya, and his reactions made me laugh. I think you really captured Toshiro's personality in this fic very well, you made him calm and short (pun unintended) to anger, but you still made him have a temper, like when Matsumoto sent him her paper work. All in all it was a very good fanfic, thanks for writing it.

This one of the best stories ever!

This is hella good. I finally found my warrior books for me to reread. But I couldn’t put my phone down as I was too invested in this story. I look forward to the future chapters and what unexpected events you may bring. You keep it familiar yet give it a good twist, like Toshiro is actually affecting the story and not just within it and the events staying exactly the same. And everyone is still within character and no actual unnecessary bashing on anyone. Giving them flaws and reasons while not going overboard if they’re an antagonist(like Zabini), it’s all natural feeling.
Plus, it’s very refreshing to see more dimension to all these beloved characters.
And no need to rush on my account. There is a beloved fanfic I love reading that took 10 years to complete. And if there’s any errors, it’s fine with me, sometimes it gives the story a more raw feeling. Then again, it could be because I’m just a chill person who just enjoys reading.

Hello, I would like to know if this fix is still alive. You don't have to update if you can't but I really would like to know.

I really liked this fanfic, but seeing how long ago tge last update was it srrms to br dead. If you read this review and you can't update becouse of some RL reasons then please answer this review in a PM. Also if this FF isn't dead you should at least post something every few months (a small one sentence notice on your profile letting people know you are still alive and haven't abandoned this site would be enough) and if this FF is dead or on hiatus you should let people know instead of just vanishing with nobody knowing wheather or not the FF is still alive.

This story is really good ~ considering it's written over 4 years its feels cohesive even reading all in one go (no weird discontinuation in thought)
I really enjoy the friendships you built ~ Malfoy, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville
And it really nice shifting the focus from Dumbledore to the professors and side-characters ~ it's sorta refreshing to not read a fic with manipulative Dumbledore ~ really like the mix of reactions from everyone in regards to Toshiro
Can't wait for more (nudge nudge wink wink-5 months!)

And now you made me lose all interest in the story, it's incredible how out of character is Toshiro and you only show that you know nothing about the character you're supposed to portray, this is a OC with toshiro's name, and a pretty pathetic one at that, maybe i'll check your stories in the future but for now this is bad.

Hyorinmaru is part of Toshiro's soul, as any Zanpakuto is born from the soul of a Shinigami, and so Hyorinmaru shouldn't react to a dead dragon like that, not even dragons react to a dead dragon so it's out of character even for the mythical creatures, and Toshiro wouldn't bat an eye to a dead dragon.
