I'm liking the story so far, but wouldn't Kirk need some PT after lying in bed for two months? They have amazing technology if patients can wake up from a coma and walk to a bar ten minutes later.

Who the heck is Naomi? It seems you've replaced Nyota Uhura with her, but I'm not sure why... It took me out of the moment while I was reading as there didn't seem to be any reason for it in the story.

Uhura's first name is Nyota, not Naomi. You should correct that mistake.
