I really love this story, and this chapter (as well as the one previous) is really good! But the phrase "The two women seemed to establish a mutual girl connection"...I don't quite understand that. I mean, I've been in a room with mostly men and I don't get a "girl connection". Like, I get what you're trying to do (Natasha and Claire could chat, you know, whatever) but...that phrase...it's not good.
