You write anxiety and depression and self medication so well, like someone who gets its. And it's so refreshing because it's like here, here's the light at the end of the tunnel of suck. I just really appreciate it.

This was such an interesting and detailed au, I really loved the idea of Ed as a tattoo artist! There was a lot of fantastic angst in this, but I'm glad it has a happy ending!

Finished this story so fast! Again I fell in love with the story and I love how soft this Edward is compared to the Edward in Perfect Blood. And love that Winry is an auto mail mechanic in this one! The whole tattoo shop concept was unique and interesting and love that they heal each other. In the manga and FMAB you always see Winry as Ed’s healer and I love that this story shows that they heal each other’s wounds physically and emotionally! So beautiful. Ugh and I wouldn’t mind meeting this version of Ed. XD Haha hope you keep writing! Love your work!

This was such a good fic and I’m so glad that I read it! :D I came here from “Perfect Blood” and I’m still so blown away by your writing skills, creativity, storytelling and how you make your stories so immersive with a lot of detail. I also love how you portray Ed and Winry- I think it’s pretty close to their actual characters and it’s so fun and entertaining to read about them in universes like “Perfect Blood” and “The Awful Truth Of Suffering”. In this fic specifically, I really liked how you included Nina, even though it was just as heartbreaking as it was in the manga/anime. I also liked how Winry was an automail mechanic and I thought it was interesting how controversial automail was in this world. Ed being a tattoo artist totally fits his character and it made this story even more interesting. I just love that he was the one to help Winry by giving her that tattoo... it was just great. I can’t wait to read your future works (I saw the new “It’s A Wonderful Life” pop up a bit ago and I’m so excited to read it, best Christmas gift ever x3) and I’ll definitely have to do some rereading of your stuff as well. Keep putting out great work please! :D

I read this story years ago and I kept thinking about it. It wasn't complete then, and I would wonder from time about what would happen. So this evening I suddenly had the impulse of finding out. I googled 'fanfic ed x winry tattoo' and had no idea of the INTENSE feels trip waiting for me. It's honestly still driving me insane! I sooooo wish this was a book- I'd read it over and over it's so beautiful. I am tempted to draw it as well and was wondering if I could possibly have your permission? I'm not completely confident I can do it justice but dear god I need some kind of emotional outlet.

After reading your stories, these are my words.. You surely have a habit of making Edward and Winry suffer, but don't worry, I do not hate you because of that. Why? You always make the best out of those sufferings and I admire you and your works a lot. I hope I'd be able to have the motivation to write a story too.
