Complete & total surprise. Remember the info on Albus helping Alberforth but it didn't register. Never gave Hermione a thought. Neville simply due to his affinity with plants. Why doesn't someone leak to the order that the old blood is thinning, and the elemental Albus found is too weak to be effective, let alone dangerous? It might work till Harry has been fully trained & come into his complete power. Extremely interesting chapter.

If Flitwick were not part Goblin, he would be my choice. Otherwise, color me thick. The age part is throwing me, otherwise due to family longevity Neville has my vote. Also his ability with plants could cast him as an earth elemental.

Plot still holds attention, but you need to edit for typos & dropped words. Albus may have been blustering, but he had allies. They may have been pawns to him but they believed in the Dumbledore myth. After of all the furor of the trial & execution, Aberforth & Hagrid were given their due. No-one went for family retribution. Why none of the other professors at Hogwarts helped Hagrid has always been a mystery. Harry's growth as a wizard and his choice of a future should be quite interesting.

Dumbledore is a perfect villain, underhanded, egotistical, greedy and vindictive. Harry has so much to hide and he's only 11. As for the Adrian 'hook-up' once again, he's 11, most likely not through puberty. Why can't Sirius be publicly "set free"? Albus would not be stupid enough to act against him for some time, would he? Then again, he was stupid enough to bring in an imposter, when there many in the school who will remember Remus. Need to continue reading. Thanks for an excellent story.
