What a fantastic story! Thank you for keeping the characters rough and more true to the movie than most stories I've read. Very interesting idea having more War Girls than just Furiosa, I like that. Ace's story of Furiosa losing her arm was also really good. I'm really excited to read more, please don't stop now!

Be careful not to turn this into a generic romance flick. These two just tried to kill each other. A romance isn't fit between these two. Ace is more like an uncle or even a father figure, maybe even a coach, to Furiosa than a lover.

I know Cheedo is supposed to be young but any story I read, I do not like her. I don't she fragility, I see meaness. :( She always sounds like a rotten brat. Her in the movie as well. In this one she expects people to treat her well no matter what when she is unwilling to do the same for others. No compassion at all. I hope she grows up a might.

Great story and woven very well.

I love it! Few fics deal with Furiosa having been one of the Boys, that the people she fought against were her brothers and friends, so I'm really enjoying her inner conflict and grief for the lost here. It's gonna be hard for everyone to adjust to living together as equals, but realistically they will be safer with the War Boys around. The Citadel needs experienced warriors to defend it. But I can also understand Cheedo feeling like her safe haven has been invaded.

Nice stuff, thanks for posting. Entertaining little read for me.

Again, a good chapter. If you enjoy writing this, I would definitely hope to see you finish this piece.
BUT, there is one part which bugs me here:
"Oh. I was just thinking that Nux seemed different. He wasn't aggressive or hostile and he didn't-" Her unfinished words hung densely in the silence between them and Furiosa understood. He hadn't tried to grab any of them, had never looked at them with that flare of lust and possession.

"He tried to strangle me, though it was warranted. He saw me as a traitor to the pack." Furiosa says in a small voice. "And he had orders not to harm any of you."

When Furiosa starts speaking, is she talking about Ace? That would be fitting for what she is saying, but Capable would be completely confused at this moment. Capable doesn't who "he" is at this point, remember. Furiosa didn't mention Ace to her earlier.
Maybe you forgot some dialogue, or you used some incorrect words, or all is well and I'm the one misinterpreting.
Anyway, good chapter, as I said.

The one thing I can point out is that you should consider longer chapters. On it's not like a book, where you just roll the page and start a new chapter. No, here you have to patiently wait for the author to continue, and when the author then continues, it's nice for the wait to have been worth it, 3000 words at a time. Just a suggestion.
Otherwise, a nice piece of text. I like it. But Morsov is most definitely the one on the back of the motorcycle that gets taken out last during the chase with the buzzards. You can hear one of the War Boys shout "Morsov!" as he swings down, with a rope, and brings Morsov up on the War Rig,
