Scissors Dolphin chapter 1 . 7/25 I'd like to remind you that they do, in fact, know that Gero is alive. He tried to kidnap 17 and 18. |
Scissors Dolphin chapter 60 . 7/25 Someone literally tried to kidnap a girl in broad day light? With people around? The fuck? |
Scissors Dolphin chapter 58 . 7/25 Why the fuck did Yamcha give Ginyu ANY sort of a chance? And how did he not notice the Ginyu's change? You say he is acting like a badass, but I see a loser. |
Scissors Dolphin chapter 53 . 7/25 Having contrived plans for the sake of plot isn't very good. Try harder and let the story flow naturally. |
Scissors Dolphin chapter 50 . 7/25 The Earthlings would be able to feel these people in space. |
Scissors Dolphin chapter 49 . 7/25 How did Frieza's force reach them at the same time, despite leaving like a year later? |
Scissors Dolphin chapter 46 . 7/25 I always find it weird why people tend to ship Radditz with Launch. Is it just bandwagon? Or perhaps the lack of females in the DBZ universe. |
Scissors Dolphin chapter 40 . 7/25 Hehe, regarding Chi-chi and Goku's relationship. I think it goes to show that marrying someone who doesn't even understand the concept is not a good idea, for either of the party. |
Scissors Dolphin chapter 33 . 7/24 Goku killing Gero's son is not canon. It's something from Dragonball Z abridged. In canon, Gero's son got killed by a bullet. |
Scissors Dolphin chapter 17 . 7/24 Did they serious not ensure that Gero is dead and gone? |
Urazz chapter 60 . 7/8 ROFL at the end there with Gohan and Videl becoming super heroes. So I guess we will see Great Saiyaman and Great Saiyaman 2 (or Great Saiyawoman) in some fashion. |
topranking2016 chapter 49 . 6/6 Tien being obsessed with matching or even surpassing Goku is missing Lunch as a good wife candidate. 'Good' Lunch is good at managing household and 'Bad' Lunch is a good comrade-in-arms, a two-in-one package. Despite her nickname 'bad' Lunch is actually also quite easygoing, Raditz turned out to be the lucky guy. Is Vegeta that racist in the canon? Sure, he got big ego and is proud of his Saiyan heritage but I doubt he's as racist as being portrayed in this fan fiction. I don't think it's a fair portrayal of him. For obvious reasons, Krilin and Yamcha are much more likable compared Goku and Chichi due to how they are being portrayed here. |
topranking2016 chapter 47 . 6/5 Not again... In the previous chapter, Goku was a hen-pecked husband agreeing with whatever Chichi thought is right and Chichi was a paranoid housewife, only thinking whatever she thought is right must be right. And now, even Kamesennin was beginning to act somewhat like Goku... Yes, I hate the man-hating feminists in the real world and I've never like the way Toriyama portraying Chichi after her marriage with Goku as in valuing his son's life more than his husband's. Bulma was not paranoid cum nagging and Tights was not either. Even Videl who was somewhat cold to Gohan during their school days was much more laid-back and relaxed after her marriage to Gohan. Needless to say, Lunch is also not much different than them. Seriously, I'm getting tired of all these 'feminism/man-are-pigs' vibes. Can't we have more 'normal' conversation? On the bright side, Krilin's negotiating ability is well portrayed in the previous chapter. Krilin is truly a natural negotiator. |
topranking2016 chapter 46 . 6/5 One of the best fan fiction of Dragonball series focusing on the Earthlings instead of the Saiyans that I've read so far. Incorporating related and yet seldom mentioned/little-known characters such as Tights is one of the thing that I like of this fan fiction. Another thing which is also interesting is how Earth's military is actively looking for cooperation with the Z fighters instead of being passive as in the canon. It's quite annoying to see Chichi fussing too much on trivial things, be it manner, speaking, education, etc, similar to the canon though. Looking forward to see how things won't be going as smooth and easy as what the four Earthlings expect it to be. |
FF8cerberus chapter 60 . 5/24 Feels like its been a while but also been a long couple months. Not a bad chapter but not much to go on this time either. If I remember right Gohan and Videl are around 5 or 6 years old at this point. From what I remember Gohan was either 4 or 5 when Raditz came and then it was a year later for Nappa and Vegeta arriving. So he is either 5 or 6 along with Videl. I really don't see them having heroism on their mind this early age but you've changed how their beginnings are so it shouldn't be that off putting. More of a comedy I guess but it seemed that Gohan was implying he was stronger or equal to Lapis and Lazuli in power. Don't believe that to be true. Timeline wise he won't reach that power for another 5 to 6 years so there is too much of a gap. Oh well. I'll end my rant here. Until next time. |
