I loved your story...the torture and sexual assault parts were so descriptive that they were hard to get through...but the Steve and Danny friendship was the best...I kind of wished you had another chapter or 2 of the hospital but other than that well done KUDOS

Love, love, love this! I love that David made his mistake and Danny took full advantage. It's such bittersweet justice when Danny gets to take out his own abuser. And Danny's hysterical laugh. I can't get enough of that. And of course, Steve and Danny's bromance. Always love that.

I loved these deleted scenes. It actually worked well to add them at the end like this. Clever.

I guess I have to give you one more "loved" line. He'd always been the glass-is-half-full side of the partnership after all.

I'm in awe of how you showed Danny's incredible struggle to recover in such a short chapter. Wonderfully done. Loved the line about their boundaries becoming weirdly blurred.

Amazing story so far. Dark but tastefully done. I love how you weaved the serious moments and comments with fun ones in this chapter. Steve pulling his shirt off was so in-character but I was expecting Danny to comment on it. ;)

The last line was breathtaking!

Go Danny on playing possum and killing Abraham before he could kill you and get to Steve. Love Steve there for Danny and knowing just what he needed even if Danny himself didn't know.

The deleted scenes were good. Loved Steve's surprise for Danny.

I like these snapshots of recovery. Deleted scenes are often lovely gifts. I enjoyed reading this story.

I like this glimpse of Danny just starting to heal after having worked through some of the recovery. It works well. It's not long and drawn out, but it does not make light of the recovery process either.

Beautifully orchestrated death scene. I like that David underestimated Danny. The last line: "For the first time in five days, Steve remembered how to breathe." - love.

Whoa. Read the first chapter and never realized you had posted the rest. Just finished it all - couldn't stop. Very powerful and I appreciate with how you gave us the agony of Danny without needing to be grossly graphic. The mind is a powerful tool and you allowed us to each paint our own picture. So well done. And I really appreciated your deleted scenes. Made the story complete.
