I've been following this story for a while now but was always a bit too shy to write a review but then I thought, why not let's just go for it! I think I came across this when you were writing chapter 4 maybe and I have to say this is my favourite story on ff.n so far. The way you characterize adult Obito is just spot on , so many people struggle to capture him well they either make him too nice or too mean and angsty and you have the right balance between a bit angsty and a bit tsunderey but still true to the original Obito in Naruto.

When I first began reading this, I thought it was a cute fanfiction about friendship and growth and it soon turned into Kakashi x Obito needless to say you build up to it very well (I was surprised when it was made official but only because I like to pretend that maybe Obito would be straight and would never fall for "Bakakashi" of all people just to fuel my inner fan girl) but the way you write it makes it so realistic and fits well with the characters. Obito fell for Rin because she was one of the only ones who supported him and was there for him and similarly, in your story Kakashi is the only one who really supported and was there for and cared for Obito , kind of filling the role that Rin once had and honestly only Kakashi could really fill the role because he's the only character who knows and understands Obito's pain.

Honestly you just, the way you write is very easy to follow and as someone who gets bored easily and runs away when she sees walls of text I could follow your story and wanted to keep reading! Please, I hope you continue this fanfiction and I hope you continue to write other stories and hopefully this doesn't sound stalkerish but by chance I came across one of your reddit posts about your writing improving and when I clicked the link low and behold, it's my favourite ff.n story LOL Just though it was a cool coincidence and that I'd share :)

Teuchi is awesome. I knew that Neji died but I wasn't aware Obito had been the one to kill him, wow. Kakashi writing that note and having Obito read it when he is not there feels like such a youthful and sweet gesture.
