Finally, i did like the chapter however, i was a tad bit disappointed with the length and content.
It's embarrassing but i wanted a bit more on their lunch; Brick's emotions when she took a bite of the meal, did she like it? Hate it? Was she uncomfortable with the rrb stares? How much did brick enjoy her being there? Did he unconsciously lean closer to her; stealing glances as she cowered in their presence? Was she analysing the situation? Looking for points of escape. Most importantly what was Butch's reaction? We all know boomer is a twat, but Butch? Lol. Just some ideas on lengthening a story. I love 2-4k word chapters.
Any way, love it. Hope writer's block will cease and desist.
