Oh my gosh. I didn't realize this story wasn't finished! I started reading it a couple of days ago after wanting to write my own Cora/Robert Titanic story. I didn't feel the need to after realizing there was one already written! You've done a good job so far, and we're all invested now so you need to give us an ending, please! We're just getting to the exciting part :D

Okay, let me just say that I was freaking out the entire time I was reading this chapter. Like, seriously, I was literally pulling my hair in anxiety. It's a testament to your writing that that is how much you've made me care about these characters, and how badly I want them to survive. Because Titanic always makes me cry, anyway, but this...oh, darling, why did I start reading this story anyway? Sniff. I teared up knowing a little bit of what was coming to begin with, what will I do in the coming chapter? WAH.

...and now I'm going to strive for coherency. You're giving an incredible sense of the chaos and feel of the situation; I can picture it all really clearly in my head. I also feel like I know exactly what the characters are thinking and the surreal "this can't actually be happening, whatever it is, can it?" feeling there.

...which of course means, amazing job! Even if I am now sobbing into my phone. :)

The Coberts are too pure for this world and you described the beginning of the sinking perfectly. I'm wondering what's going to happen since we're such DRAMA queens and Cora decided to go back OF COURSE. Are they going to be trapped or something? Please don't do this to me!

This chapter was beautiful but everything is getting a little painful to read as I agonise over who is going to make it and who isn't. In particular I think you capture Cora's raw emotions very well.
