Omg. I've never related more to a fictional character more. I'm smart, but I still hate school. I have parents who care but are disinterested. They care for me, they do, but where are they when I cry myself to sleep or think about suicide?

This story is beautiful. I just really, really wish Percy- and Frank had gotten 1 chapter at least. I didn't see as much character development there as I did with the other guys, and I really wish I had gotten to see that. I just wanted to let you know this in a helpful comment kind of way. But even though it didn't develop those two characters as much as I expected- the rest of the story- phenomenal. Hats off to you.

Real good story... real good, lots of great messages to see being talked about in the happier half of the story. Reading every Annabeth chapter during her lowest was pretty grim, so well written for sure. And well yeah anyone can fix their damage provided they have the right catalyst and support... good shit author... good shit all throughout.

The reason I love this story so much is that it not only builds on the original characters' personalities and backstories perfectly, it also gets into the real deep sh*t. It encompasses what actual high school is like for a variety of kids from a variety of different backgrounds. The deep, philosophical examinations of life, such as in this beautiful chapter, are my favorite part. Everything is so well written, and has totally gotten better since the very first chapter. I would most definitely buy this for like $17 at Barnes and Noble. I've read this before and I'm reading this again, because the story is so compelling it makes me want to read more. I just wanted to express exactly how much I love this story.
