I'm sorry for the comment rather than a review, but with personal stuff, I forget some details of the story. I did see the Haitus thing so I decided to check it out. And even though, I'm sad. You're a good writer and good luck.

Forgot to read your A/N from the previous chapter and reply to that so I'll do it here and then get onto this chapter.
I would say the pacing is actually really quite good. Definitely not too fast. A lot does happen, and the bit between the school and the swings is a little rushed, but, other than that it's really quite a good flow.
I kind of like how you didn't use a cafe. They are very often used for those type of confrontations in a lot of popular media. I'm not saying the park scene hasn't been done but this was a nice change of pace.
I never really got into Kamen Rider, although I tried.
The swapping POVs could be a little confusing at times but it mostly wasn't an issue.
Now onto Chapter 13:
Chibimon and Jun's little back and forth was entertaining.
Davis' kindness with MetalKoromon was endearng actually.
The behind the scenes Ken/Nauticus and how it links to canon is always interesting.
" Unfrtunately, she was too heavy for the bird to carry" unfortunately*
Davis's different approach shines through here. 'Friends' aren't as important to him as the task at hand. It'll be interesting to see how this progresses as the story goes on.
Young TK/Kari was cute.
Dark Fladramon was a nice addition. Very interesting.

The quick first paragraph served as a nice little intro because you focussed on the character's personalities and not just things they had done. It was how what they had done had affected them.
erwhelming victory.
"I'm badminton, ping pong and swimming," He is those sports, aha?
"Takeru raised his shoulders disappointedly." I'm not familiar with this expression, trying to picture it is a bit strange, aha.
Cody's eagerness to accept was a little strange. I always saw him as more reserved and observant, careful for fear of something going wrong.
Yolei was funny as ever.
"Taichi blanched." Another strange expression.
"I'm pretty sure that voice belonged to not one of us." A weird way to say this, too, aha.
Chibimon was as funny as ever. I kind of wanted him not to give in but it was so much more true to character for him to act like that.
The little school chase scene was amusing. Felt very true to a high school show.
"have to thread carefully with your next questions," tread*?
An interesting little chapter. I might have to breeze over the previous 11 to get my barings again but it was an enjoyable read.

BRILLIANT Chapter! I can't wait to see how Ken's encounter with the 02 Chosen Children in his own home goes!

Yay! Tai and Matt pep-talk! Seriously, we needed more of those in the show. Very nice scene. And OMG the puppy! I knew immediately it was the same puppy from the show! I was like, "oh please don't kick it this time just to keep up the act!" So yay! Ken now has a puppy! I'm happy. But, uh, you wrote "god" instead of "dog" there. Might want to go back and change that. ;) Overall, great chapter. Can't wait to see what happens now that Ken and the others have officially met. Will he reveal everything now? Looking forward to more!

It was a very nice touch to have Taichi and Yamato talking to Davis, kind of a reminder of Friendship and Courage being a part of Davis. Nothing much happened in this chapter, it was literally what I would call the calming before the storm. I bet things happened or was hinted out, but I'm not the type to over speculate. I just appreciate more if something big does happen and I can see where it all 'began'.

It's obviously going to be different from here on out, with some similarities here and there. But I think I look forward to the next chapters more and more, seeing how certain events will take place. But that's obviously for later. It was a nice chapter though.
