Yeah, running for it is probably a good idea. Although just Apparating out of there probably wouldn't hurt, either. After all, Hogwarts probably still thinks Snape is Headmaster and so he could probably Side-Apparate Ginny and himself out of there.

I see they both dressed for the date in the ever-popular 'Hi, Sailor!' mode. But despite Ginny's impatience, Severus needs to take it slow, if only to convince himself that this is actually real.

Ah, yes-and they have something else in common they haven't talked about yet-the company of that ever so charming Tom Riddle in their head, one way or another. They're both survivors of *that* one.

One hopes that a good Healer can do something about the mess that is Snape's neck-maybe Ginny can do a bit more research. After all, if Snape had gone to St. Mungo's right after the bite, the odds were not good that anyone would have tended him.

I love how Severus is making amends with everyone whose lives he saved-at least they're being decent about it.

But of course nobody ever has to make amends to him for how he was treated.

I could just smack Ginny's family. She is an adult, which her family seems not to see as they insist on insulting her choices right out in public...and Harry is just as bad!

What? Why is this 'complete'? I want more! I adored this Ginny/ Severus story, although in all seriousness I do feel that it ended too abruptly. I think it needed at least a scene of them going to the event and or/ confronting the family again. I felt that for such a large plot point, it was never fully resolved. That aside, great job and well done on making the characters your own with such an unusual pairing.
