Fool. He could have tell the Olympians the entire story by taking an oath first, then they could have Mnemosyne to search for the antidote in Arnold's memories.

Why do you author's make things so complicated? An oath on the Styx (or the Void or Chaos) from Percy should clear his name. And since he feels wronged by everyone not believing him, he decides to turn his back on them and leave.

Uhhhh... Threatened and reunited don't exactly rhyme. While they may have the same ending letters they don't actually sound alike. If you write the Prophecy like this.

A long lost brothers reunited
A fire of evil realighted
A single sacrifice shall be the cost
To protect the loved ones from being lost
Therefore our hero must defend our nation
And regift the world a new sense of elation

It would make much more sense but that's just my opinion.
