Absolutely fucking brilliant! The perfect mix between crack satire and serious! The only complaint I have is that you have male Shep instead of female Shep meaning you lost out on a lot of similar moments you could have with Miranda that you could with Shepard, and any other woman in the series, also personally if I were in Medulas position I would basically make myself into the ultimate cyborg badass AS WELL as make myself into something akin to the sexy male voice on the phone that knows exactly what to say to the ladies to get them going but cockblocking them and teasing them, not only for my amusement but also to set them up for when I modify my chassis ;) but beyond that this is excellent work and I can't wait for your next chapters keep up the good work and stay frosty!

Honestly, this series deserves way more favs than it has. The OC and Miranda are just fucking excellent, and the rest of the characters are good too. Really wish this was much longer.

My one criticism is the Transformers name theme. Just didn't feel like it fit with the first story, which had a serious plot with plenty of funny moments. The transformers names just felt like it was crossing over into parody. Not sure I like all the extra fillers even if I get their purpose. Maybe instead consolidate everything administrative into one AI, make it an important character, and if you need ground troops make them nameless bots controlled by said AI (or Medulla) instead of being individuals.

The turian mech being Saren is kinda super obvious for chapters upon chapters already.

That 'brainwashing' was kinda extremely clumsy and fallible.
I wouldn't even call it brainwashing as feeding easily verifiable wrong information to a person with access to only one source.

The banter was one of the best ones out there, the sequel's chapters were informative enough to read without reading the prequel. The characters were in character and at their most entertaining.

The one bit I actually didn't like was censoring Medulla's real name. You could have used another name or something, seeing the name censored was distracting from the immersion.

I didn't check the reviews to see if anyone did say it, oh well.
Anyway, I can totally see Megatronus Medulla says things his codename's namesake would have said. Like the well known "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." and maybe after a big speech, one that he took heavy inspiration from Optimus's own, he says "Autobots, transform and roll out!" followed by "Sorry, I couldn't resist."
Maybe use modified speeches of Optimus Prime to broker the peace between the Quarian and the Geth and as an argument against the Reapers's goal.

Additional idea: Medulla get the team of project Antaeus, who will need a name as well, to use more and more Transformers terms... and even try to reproduce the transformation of at least parts into weapons if not the whole mech into a vehicle form. He really could not resist at least trying to pull it off. Maybe a growing separation with the Mass Effect technology as time pass.
Holy shit that would be awesome.
