That was so darn cute. Seriously. Especially how Chloe stole the ring before Beca had a chance to properly propose. Because, yeah, that's probably how that would happen. Though I'm kind of glad it didn't happen directly in the mud when she'd given up, mud-caked ring and all. Imagine reenacting that for the 50th anniversary or something.

The cat from hell - I approve of Beca's hatred. It's probably Chloe's little angel kitten no matter how old it is.

Also, the proposal ideas were really cute. Horseback riding picnic was probably my favorite. And the bear trap thing again. Because they don't believe in ladders.

And for the kid's sake, I hope Emily took Benji's last name, weird as that one is too.

More seriously, I always love the lines you can't help but pause over and read again. Like how "oxyygen is overrated and the sheer power of Chloe's wide smile is going to be her lifeline from now on" or the mass murdering line. Because I can see it. She's always had that slight twinge in her lips that warned she was capable of it.

New prompt: Hysterical cooking experience. Whether that means loud laughter or crazed crying is up to you.

Um...this was heartbreakingly beautiful. I kind of don't like you for it being so depressing and seeming so real, like it could happen. But then I know it's just cuz you are an amazing writer that can create lots of emotion. Great job on something that's bad to think about. And great characterization with beca too.

Dang it, I'm still stuck on how broken Beca is. How broken I am because you wrote this. *mumbling* Dick.

*trying to be rational* Okay. Beca sewing. Beca gardening. Beca not mixing. Beca skydiving and motorcycle riding. See, those last two I can see, especially after the last chapter. Badass Beca makes a return. But sewing. Gardening. Not mixing. You need to physically stop and picture her doing those things and it's such a new and strange image that you know how f-cked up she's become ever since- well, ever since. (Also a cute phrase.)

I feel obliged to start with this for some reason... but I never really realized that Beca's taller than you. I may need to remember this.

Okay, down to business. We're gonna start with the characters because what you've done with each and every one of them is so... I want to say cute, but I'll refrain and say true to their characters while also grin-inducing. Like Stacie. Her job allows her to be on the prowl 24/7 and it's beautiful. I'm sure Aubrey thinks so too, which is still a giggle-madly kind of pairing, at least the way you write it. Just Aubrey too. The way she interacts with Chloe whenever she's late and yet ends up coming home at an even more scandalous time (how dare she have a better night of sex than Bechloe). Chloe's turn. I love that she's not always the bubbly character she's often portrayed as. Here, she's curious, contemplative, warm-hearted. And still teasing her Problem though she makes her breath catch. It's wonderful. Now the Stud herself. It's seriously great when Beca's in the dominant role sometimes. It somehow still fits her character and just makes her grins and smirks that much better. Like a mischievous glint is added to her eyes and you know she'll act on the unspoken promise or threat hidden there. And can we have a moment of silence for her wardrobe? Her work shirt especially, though I wonder if she's ever actually worn it... Plus the fact that she holds down three jobs (ish?) while never seemingly sleeping at night is hella cool, especially the range between them and the fact that she's at least part owner. Like she's still the Alpha Bella.

But now I just kind of want to know if she'd still be a full-blown stud after finding stability with Chloe.

Anyway. CR. Not always one of my favorites in the movies, but she's cool here. Low-key kind of chill. *nods in appreciation* Lily is Lily. I've decided. Combing her bangs was perfect. S'all that was needed. Same with everyone else. Like I could see Flo being optimistic about tattooing and chatting the entire time about her "one time..." stories. And glad to see Jesse doesn't (solely) own a movie theater. Because Beca would probably have to be dragged in.

Also, I really like the idea of Chloe sucking at pool that much. No idea why. And you know how much I love Beca's sudden appearances. It's a daily thing for them in my mind, tackles and all.

But what the hell were you doing with that ending. Dork. You had my eyebrows scrunched up tight because I know you. You'd kill Beca off just for spite. Dork. Thanks for not doing that and making it a pretty heart-melting ending. *content*
