Haki user Rouge is logical - Ace is quite good at it by accident, after all, with no training or knowledge of it. Not all of that being from Roger would have been nice for him to know. I agree on there being no other in-series explanation other than some devil fruit usage - the extended pregnancy was just too long to be plausible.

I love this so much! I love how they both made some pretty cool trips! My favourite was meeting the guard in Fishman island tbh. I was so happy that it was Jinbe! :DDD
Then of course when Roger was executed... execution in OP always made me too sad to do anything for a while so when I read it, I kind of lingered on the lines stating Rouge's reaction... it's really sad...
I'm definitely going to read the continuation to this story, even if it's 5 in the morning!

Well this was great. I love that you gave her Haki, because she's a D, and she's someone who attracted the attention of Roger in the first place and like you said, someone who could extend her pregnancy for twenty months, so to me she could never be just a damsel or weak in any way. The scene where she earned herself a bounty was great. I can just imagine Marco or someone teaching her more about if later and Izo helping her get better at using a gun. It was amazingly written as always.

Ahhh. Oh man this was really good. I absolutely love it! It's like an adorable date fic and I know how it would end and I almost teared up but still it's so good to read about Rouge and Roger. I honestly don't doubt that this was what they were like in canon. The way you opened with Roger going overboard with shopping for Ace was too cute. And I also loved the little details you put in about Rouge knowing Roger isn't perfect and he can be downright frightening.

Whitebeard and his crew are perfect as ever. Roger and Whitebeard (and Garp) being frenemies is hilarious. They totally act like it too! I wish there was more of this. Just to see Ace growing up with a mom and an actual good image of his dad and a LOT of uncles/brothers and Whitebeard (would Ace be his grandson then?).

Also did they bring all the clothes cause omg baby Ace being dressed up in baby Marine clothing while on Whitebeards ship! And all those other outfits should not go to waste!

This story is absolutely gorgeous. The relationship you created for Roger and Rouge is absolute perfection, and I refuse to believe that the chemistry developed between them in this fic is anything less than one-hundred percent canon, because seriously, this is just wonderful, and it seems so right. Seeing Rouge and Roger during their adventures was really a lovely trip down memory lane, because as I read I was thinking about the Straw Hat's taking this exact route (minus Skypiea), and that only added to the enjoyment of this fic. I'm so glad that Roger and Rouge were able to make the most what little time they had together, and somehow that makes it better. That and the fact, that Rouge is alive at the end. When I read the line 'Tired and a little bitchy, but she'll be okay once she's rested,' a literal sigh of relief escaped my lips. This fic was so amazing, and to have Rouge alive is really the icing on the cake. I cannot applaud you enough with this. Wonderful job, and thank you for sharing!
