Oh my god! Why did I only known about this fic?! This is amazing! And oh my god you need to update! I don't care if you updated last February! You need to update this one! T_T I want to know what happens. I was a Cooperfeld fan and because of this story, came to love Ashfeld (Larma).

I liked Lauren's explanation about how words can be used as weapons here in the beginning. It is also very true to her characterization. She does always use words as weapons on the show. I like how you delved a bit more into her personality that she uses words as a weapon for a reason so that as Karma stated she can go on the offense. To push against people who try to get too close to her and risk finding out about her secret. So that they can't use her own secret against her as a weapon. I'm guessing when she says it's Karma's fault she means the rift between Amy and Lauren is Karma's fault. That is pretty fucked up of Lauren to say that. I'd say it's all of their faults for the shitty decisions they all made. It isn't surprising that Karma already knew about Amy having a new girlfriend, they were after all best friends for years so Karma can always tell. I agree with Amy on the show, the universe can be a huge dick. On a different note do you hate Felix or something? Why does everyone love hating on Felix? The guy did nothing but genuinely like Amy and briefly date Amy...if it even counts as dating. He is not a "bland as white bread fuckboy". Since first of all, well you spelled fuckboi* wrong. It's spelled boi and not boy because a boy specifically refers to a cute little innocent elementary school kid whereas a boi refers to a douchebag. No worries though that's a common mistake to make. Second of all I fail to see how Felix of all people could ever be considered a fuckboi he actually legit could be called a boy since he's still a nice guy that doesn't quite qualify as a man on the show. I mean he's literally a male version of Amy. I've said this before I'll say it again. He is exactly like Amy, it's why they paired the two of them together in the first place. The only difference between the two is he's male and straight...but not too long ago Amy would've sworn up and down that she wasn't remotely gay or queer or any such thing. Case in point the pilot where Shane hints about Amy and Karma being in a gay relationship and Amy responds with "I'm oddly flattered, but I'm not gay". Either way what the fuck did Felix do to you for you to hate him so much? He didn't even care that Amy didn't have a label or that she wanted to show up to the prom wearing a suit instead of a dress. How many guys do you know that would be cool with that? Answer: fucking no straight cis guy ever. He's a gem of a character and I don't appreciate you calling him a fuckboi and proceeding to spell the word wrong. I mean if you're going to use it at least use it right you know. On a different lighter note, I didn't think they'd be meeting Amy's mystery girl quite like this. For a horrible moment it felt like you were trying to hint that Amy's mystery girl was actually a mystery dude and that mystery dude was Liam. As like a real form of payback to Karma and Lauren's betrayal. Since Karma felt like she was hearing Amy's speech at the wedding all over again with the reveal of Amy's mystery girl. I mean in retrospect her reaction is justified and understandable given how she felt about Sabrina on the show. I'm surprised Lauren didn't pick up on Karma's reactions sooner or that she's clearly uncomfortable with Sabrina even hugging her let alone being Amy's new best friend and girlfriend all rolled into one. I'm shocked Shane didn't shut his mouth sooner (although, this is Shane we're talking about so I'm not entirely surprised) knowing that Karma wouldn't be okay with knowing that her role as best friend has been replaced as has Lauren's role as a confidante/sister. Honestly though I would've preferred if Amy really was seeing Liam (motherfucking Liam! would be better than Sabrina any day of the week) or if you created a brand new original character altogether for us to love. I mean I get why you did it...it causes more conflict and drama for Karma since she's always hated Sabrina. I think everyone can agree that Sabrina surpasses Karma in that Karma's a bitch...we all know that, but Sabrina? Sabrina's a cunt, there's no doubt about that. Karma may be a bitch, but Sabrina's just way worse. I definitely don't think the actress who played her looked like a supermodel, she looked like any teenaged girl would. But of course Karma would compare her looks to Sabrina's and compare her to a supermodel. I so wish you had created an original character, I obviously absolutely hate Sabrina. Still super fucking pissed the show ended with Amy and Sabrina as a pairing (it definitely got cancelled way too soon). I mean it's not like Karma ever purposely pretended to be into girls...into Amy. The whole "faking it" that they did was just that to Karma playing pretend so that she could cozy up to Liam and ensnare him in her little trap. She never once made Amy believe she was actually legit into her in that way. Sabrina purposely pretended to be into Amy, questioning her sexuality, thinking about girls in that way. She just wanted to kick Karma out of the friendship so that Amy would be her best friend instead. That's not only psychotic, but just super fucked up. That cunt does not belong in the fandom, on the show, or really anywhere. I don't care if she actually did start liking Amy in that way during her little performance, it doesn't excuse the fact that she straight up lied about everything. Okay, I'll end my rant there. I look forward to the next chapter and the drama Sabrina is bringing with her.

P.S. Sorry for that rant about my hatred against Sabrina and my genuine love of Felix as a character. Jesus, I think while reading this I legit forgot you're not secretmonkey. Since she's usually the only writer on here where all of my comments turn into rants. You're starting to do the exact same shit she does...overly referencing Harry Potter like it's the only series of books or books in general that she's ever read (there are a million books and series out there to choose from). I sure hope you're not elitist like she is about Harry Potter being the be all end all and if you're not a fan you deserve to be burned in hell. She's also got something against Felix for some reason. Y'all love Liam and Shane (two of the worst male characters since both of them are manwhores and one's biphobic)...but hate Felix (the sweetest most genuine character on the show and in comparison to the other two god awful male characters). Okay so maybe neither of you love Liam, but you definitely both put him in a better light than you do Felix (Felix is a fucking alcoholic and Liam's got Ted Bundy's life story...but you sympathize/empathize with him more so than with Felix). You guys don't make any fucking sense. You see it's stuff like this that makes me really think you're secretmonkey with an additional pseudonym.

So, yeah. This fandom still gets me in the feels. Or, it could just be your gut-wrenching writing. That last, 1K words or so had me so tense. I guess I've been away from this 'verse so long, Sabrina took me by surprise.

Haha, I noticed that it did sound like you were implying Lauren and Shane had some sort of thing going on and that Karma was jealous of it. That was a pretty epic scene there having Karma basically give Lauren a foot job (you know like a hand job, except she used her foot instead) just to get her attention. I noticed you spelled Brandi differently in the previous chapter. You spelled her name "Brandy" in the last chapter and "Brandi" in this chapter. I personally don't know what the correct spelling was supposed to be for her name either. I just found it interesting you changed it. I'm surprised Lauren doesn't care more about the gossip going around school, especially if it pertains to her. I guess she really is super preoccupied by thoughts of getting Amy back as her sister. It is weird to think of Lauren calling Karma 'baby'. I do find it hilarious that none of Lauren cutting remarks or specific 'Lauren tone' towards Karma made even the slightest bit of difference on Karma. I also love the fact that Lauren wasn't wearing any underwear so it made it easier for Karma to giver her that foot job. It's also pretty scandalous for her to go that far in the library of all places. Of course all Karma still cares about is craving attention, I'm not even the least bit surprised that she liked Liam of all people was at least still paying enough attention to notice Karma slowly sliding her foot up Lauren's leg like that. I'm surprised more people in the library didn't notice that. Why were there so many people at the library at that time of day anyway? I found that strange. I look forward to your next chapter and where you go with Karma's jealously and the lack of attention she seems to be receiving specifically from Lauren.

P.S. I was looking through all of your reviews and noticed...that Secretmonkey's suspiciously never commented on any of the chapters. I know for a fact that she is shockingly a fan of Lauren and Karma (Larma, I still think this sounds like a venereal disease so I still call the pairing Karmen) even though she definitely hates Karma's character on the actual show. So why hasn't she commented on the very first Lauren and Karma pairing story? You were the first to write about them...we both know that. Are you still positive you're not also Secretmonkey under a different pen name? Both of your writing styles are wayyyyyy to similar for this to just be a coincidence. How has she not commented on your story if she is in fact a different person? She's stated she likes this pairing. It makes no sense. I've also seen her comment on another story with the same exact pairing (Karma and Lauren). So it's just not possible that she hasn't also read this story as well and not commented at all.

Oh my god yes thank you for updating :) and of course I'm still reading this story, I've read it like three times so far.
I feel sorry for Karma because I think Amy knows exactly what she's doing, she's using Lauren's guilt against her and I am so glad that Karma doesn't care about Amy, I mean of all people she has known Amy the longest so of course she will see through Amy's crap, I just really hope that Lauren and Shane will see it too before Lauren loses Karma for good.
Let's not forget that Amy was in a relationship that she had her chance with Karma and she chose Reagan so really she has no right to guilt trip Lauren.
I would love to see a Karma smack down with Amy again because I think that's what needs to happen really..maybe Amy will show her true colours and Lauren or Shane could see it without Amy or Karma realising they were there? and then they can realise that Karma isn't the villain?

The Lauren/karma thing Is kinda stupid and shitty

Really liked the first chapter!

I didn't think Lauren would ever get to a moment where she didn't care about her GPA...cause she's Lauren. I'm surprised she cares this much just to see Amy smiling again. I don't see Karma going through these pains to see Amy as well and Amy has been her best friend for years. I would think Karma would care more about seeing Amy smiling than Lauren would. I don't understand why they care so much about who Amy is seeing, as long as she's happy isn't that all that matters? It makes sense why Shane cares so much, since he's the nosy gossip queen that feels the need to know everything about everyone (it's one of the more unlikable traits about him, that he can't just let someone have their own fucking secret). But why does Lauren care so much? If she wants to get back into Amy's good graces, she should butt out and let Amy keep her secret like Amy blatantly let Lauren and Karma keep their "secret". I mean seriously Amy could've pulled a Shane and outted them a long time ago at school. She even could've taken secret pics of them coming out of the closet and posted it to the school's tumblr and gushed about the sordid details to Vashti Nadira. I'm sure Vashti would've eaten it up like the hungry faux reporter that she is. I think it's really fucked up that Lauren feels the need to find out about who Amy's secretly seeing so badly. Maybe she should learn to mind her own fucking business the way Amy is. Plus Amy always felt like Farrah loved Lauren more, so I'm glad Farrah now could give less of a fuck about Lauren and is now paying more attention to Amy like she should've in the very beginning when Lauren first showed up like the so called "perfect" daughter that she was. I think Lauren's wrong, it's obvious on the show that Farrah obviously prefers Lauren over Amy even if Amy is biologically her actual daughter and not Lauren. It's pretty fucked up, but parents always have a favorite whether you want them to or not. I've heard of stories where the in-laws actually preferred the person their kid married over their actual fucking kid. That's family for you though, you can pick your friends but you can't pick your family. Unfortunately I don't think Farrah would've picked Amy out of a lineup of babies if she had a choice. I'm glad you're updating your stories and I look forward to the next chapter. I'm hoping it involves acid being thrown at Shane as some sort of warning to cut the shit about finding out more so about who Amy's seeing. They need to shut that shit down.
