Loved it! Sarah was a human being. Not a pushover, nor a brat. Jareth was true to himself, too. I get the feeling that he may have learned from his previous encounter with our lovely Goblin Queen...

this was not really that good, Sarah came across as a spoiled brat and Jareth didn't seem to get anywhere.

Love it! So sweet and fun and absolutely true-by the way. I love fics that take on Sarah as a teenager-not a child, not fully grown up, but at that confusing, maddening age straddling the two where everything is still new and full of possibilities. Honestly, I think it's a key part of the initial Jareth/Sarah dynamic.

Hello there, old friend! Just what I needed, a GOOD Labyrinth one-shot! There was so much to like about it, too-the way you wrote Karen, Jareth's reaction to the serenade (which was hysterical), and seeing Sarah have friends. I've never been thrilled with the idea of her as a loner, though I can see where people would get that idea.

Anyhow, this was just a great little chicken nugget of a story. I like the Aboveground world with Penny and Sarah's 'love interest'-hope you write more with them in the future. :-)

Oh, this was delightful. I loved Sarah's voice and tone. It's very on point for her age. But my favorite thing was probably when Jareth plays the mentor and tells her that her value is not determined by other people, especially boys and whether they are interested in her.
