Short and sweet, there are quite a few stories like this, but the length lends itself quite well to the bittersweet nature.

Why was his name changed to Tatsuya? It was the only thing he remembered. His name didn't become Shirou once he became an Emiya.
Also I don't think I get what Archer wished for.

What a lovely story. I really loved the part where Kiri and Archer have a moment in the bar. I've wondered what those two characters would act like if the met eachother and I think this story did it well.

Great one-shot, but I'll admit I'd have loved to see how EMIYA would have taken down Caster's giant monster, or how the rest of the servants were taken down.

I loved the formatting. Weird thing to compliment I suppose, but yeah. It gave way to clear cuts and new sequences, and that complimented the prose, or writing style since I don't even know if I'm using that word correctly. Brief and clear, but spoke magnitudes in how it was executed, very fitting for EMIYA and Kiritsugu. Overall, I really enjoyed this read!
