This is very good. The love between the brothers is so evident and so true. I love their honesty and openness. Their commitment to stay together and move forward while processing what happened to their father is lovely. They miss him, and they wonder but they are going to find their way.

Young Killian is sweet. Because we know what lies ahead we want to hug him now and tell him it's going to be okay. Thanks for writing, I just saw this.

I just wanted to tell you again how much I love this story. Beautifully written, and your characterizations of young Killian and Liam are perfect. I hope to see more stories set in this universe - I'm dying to know what became of David Jones and if the boys ever encounter him again.

I am so glad you emailed me this because I WOULD have missed it, and I'm so so so glad that I did not. I absolutely love this story. I love Liam's concern for Killian and his fear of having to be responsible for him. I love Killian's fire, and how young (and not young) he is. I love the glimpse of an explanation we get as to the fate of Papa Jones, and I especially love hearing the king talk about how loyal Liam and Killian will now be to him ... delicious dramatic irony. Perfect.

The touch that makes this little chapter is Liam bracing himself against the hammock so Killian can't flip out of it if he wakes up hard. It sums up so much about Liam's character and the relationship as a whole.

Aww, I love the idea of Liam sneaking away from his post in the middle of the night to check on his little brother.

Thank you soo much for the extra chapter! But I wish it could be a a multi chapter story. I would love to know what really happened to their father... If there were more attempts to finish off with the Jones brothers ( because Neverland was a clear set up. ) Back up storys aré so very importante to know what makes a caracter tic. And Killian Is the least written about. There Is another story on FanFiction that gives the Jones brothers a history that Is only missing the dragones to be just like Game of Thrones.
