A wonderful story and beautifully written.
My only complaint is that it was never finished. It's been a few years but it'd be great if you could put the last couple of chapters in.

Found your Asterix -stories a while ago, and they're so beautiful and amazingly ambitious! A little sad that you didn't finish this one, but I quite understand the issue with finishing such a long story.
I especially enjoy reading those who are very main character-focused, like this one and "An inner light". Well done!
And with all that being said, I hope you'll write more sometime, whether it'll be a big project like this, or "simply" a oneshot :)

I hope that one day you come back to this story because it is absolutely incredible. That being said, I'm sure you've got other things going on that I also wish you luck on.
