Props to you for finishing a story especially after a long break and losing part of what you had written. There is nothing more upsetting or frustrating than losing something you wrote. The fight of last chapter was quite epic; it's clear you put a lot of thought into it. The friendly bickering of the epilogue was a nice touch. :) I'm surprised you are continuing this story with a sequel and am excited to read more. Good luck to you and thanks for writing!

This is quite an interesting fic not only solely because of the plot, but also your take on the characters and their lives in the new world. I'm happy and grateful that you took the time to create and write a plot centric story instead of, say a romance, which are so prevalent in the DS2 fics. I also appreciate how you have taken such care in preserving the little quirks of the characters: i.e. how they address each other and Fumi's tendency to drag out words. While reading I did wish that you would have brought out more of the characters and their interactions. Reading about you perspective on how Saiduq lives was interesting and plausible. And although I should have seen it coming, I didn't guess the twist in the last chapter so props to you! I'm dying to know how they deal with her and the reason why she is here considering according to the game's canon she shouldn't be. Thank you for writing this well written fic and please continue it!
