Thank you! I wish DN had ended like this, I wasn't crazy about Light but I just never got why he had to die when he could've reformed and ended with up Misa.

I truly enjoyed reading this. There aren't fics around here that have an actual happy ending for this pair which sucks for me since I actually ship them.

One of the best light x misa fluff. I really like how you picture the "emotionally better" Light Yagami. Most of the fics featuring the"kind, and caring" light seems so...ummh...not quiet right. So good job

Think the same. I'm watching the new drama serie and I hope the ending is better. So far I kind of like the new Kira and Misa. L no so much... seems kind of out of character to me. u.u

Good point about that pen, but are you sure that wasn't just inner monologue?
Since you seem to like more reciprocal version of the relationship between Light and Misa, you might want to give a chance to Death Note TV drama. It's very AU in many aspects – and nowhere near as good as the brilliant anime – but Light clearly cares about Misa, which you might like. She's also introduced earlier than in the show. Once you stop cringing at the frequent overacting and the like, you may come to enjoy it.
As for writing more, it would be great. If you want a prompt from me, how about some more about Light defeating Near? There's never enough of that :)
