Hey, so this is probably my second or third time reading this one, I just love it! I’m genuinely sad that it isn’t canon! You have integrated Irene perfectly and I loved reading the movies events from her perspective, the way you changed some of the scenes to add her in was perfect. In case more encouragement was needed, I would absolutely 100% read a sequel if you ever write one, I ship it so hard :)
That being said I also understand that it’s been a while and fandom love can change, I myself have jumped in and out of this one many times, so I’d also happily settle for rereading this one :) so no pressure!

I love the way you wrote Carlos, I hope that you'll consider writing another Descendants story at some point! I also enjoyed your original character I usually don't read too many stories with them because they tend to not measure up to the canon characters but you've made a likable character that I really came to like as I read the story, knowing that I'll have to give some of your other works a try some time.

This was the first Descendants fanfic I ever read and it's still as adorable as ever, I was wondering though if you were maybe thinking of doing a sequel sometime for this story based on the second movie? That'd be neat, either way, thanks for writing this it's always a joy to read. :)

Or, you could just add a tangent line in which Irene goes with the kids to the Isle and gets kidnapped by; yes you guessed it, Cruella
Also, you could have used True Love's Kiss to break the statue spell, after all she was frozen in a different manner, but then again, it could be a bit of a push, xD
