Oh my! This was very sweet, with Rin wanting to sleep next to Haru, and then Haru asking Rin if he wants to go to shcool with him because Rin said he would miss him...

And OMG the plan, naughty kids! I love their naivety; their plan was just so simple, exactly the kind of plan two little kids would devise!

I'm really curious to see what they do once they get to Haru's school :)

Oh, I love this kind of chapters with mixed emotions... Bath time with Rin having fun and chasing bubbles was the sweetest thing ever! I like the contrast between Rin's excitement and Haru's "colder" attitude towards the bubbles. Another thing I found adorable was both being stubborn about leaving the tub!

About the darker side of the story, my heart breaks for poor Rin, I cannot imagine how much he must have suffered. I hope Haru's family get some answers soon so that they can find a way to help him...

Haru coming home and catching his family red-haned must have been terrifying for him, since he's so fond of Rin already.

I'm glad Rin's back home safe and sound, and his way fo explaing his adventures was just so cute and sweet OMG I'm melting.

I think it would be nice if Sousuke and Ai became freinds with the rest of the gang, they looked really sweet in this.

Oh, so Haru's dad has realised that perhaps Rin's fears are nothing perosnal agaisnt him but something related to what he experinced with his previous family... I'm so looking forward to learn more about Rin's past.

And yay! Bath time! it sounds so promising and I'm sure is going to be the cutest thing ever (I'm envisioning Rin trying to play with the soap bubbles LOL)

Ok, the the first line "The little catboy prided himself in being pretty brave" laready had me awwwing. And it totally sounded like something taken stright out from a classic fairy tale, which is something that actually suited the story pretty well.

It's intresting to see more of the world through Rin's eyes, I believe.
And I'm also glad of seeing Sousuke and Ai! It's nice that they rescued Rin from the dog. Poor Rin, he must ave been so scared, and I think you conveyed that feeling well.

I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter, and if Haru goes back home before Sosuke's aunt can take Rin there, I wonder how Haru will react!

I really, really love this story. Kitty-Rin is too cute. The only problem I have with it has nothing to do with the story line or your writing, but more in the total subjugation of Cat people. I mean, what the H-E-doublehockeysticks! You have this entire species that is highly intelligent, I'd say more so than humans, and their young are taken away from their families and put in shelters to be adopted against their will? I don't even what to think about what happens to the parents. (I mean, breeding and -god forbid- kitty mills.) But it's not just the cat people, I think I saw something about a Puppy Boy, but Dog people too. I think it was unintentional, but you created this horrifying society. And I don't mean any of this negatively. I think if you played your cards right this could turn into a totally different story. Now I'm imagining a revolt, with all the animal people and Haru and Rin stuck in the middle of it.
