Hahahaha! Oh, man. This is hilarious. Getting the Helmacron instincts is pretty freaking funny. All the little Helmacrons probably want to kill Rachel because of the mistake she is making. Anyway, I know you probably won't update this since it's been years, but I just wanted to tell you that I love this story and your earlier story, The Wheel. You've got everyone's character down pat and the plot of The Wheel and The Heretic are really interesting and amusing. If you ever decide to come back and finish this, I will be va ery happy and excited reader. As far fetched as that is, I hope you do! Really great job!

It's been nearly 10 years since you updated this story. As such, I have lost all hope in it's continuation. However, this and The Wheel are probably the best pieces of fanfiction I have ever read, in terms of quality and characterization, as well as having a compelling story and interesting character developments. I don't know what else to say other than I hope you are actually a famous writer now who just doesn't have time for fanfiction, and if you ever Do update this story, I will gladly reread it. In fact, I'll probably read it again anyways.

Okay, now I *know* you're heading into AU territory. If Jordan sees the Yeerk Pool, whether or not she's infested, she'll know about everything for the rest of the war. The only way you can keep this believable within the canon timeline is if Jordan doesn't go down to the Yeerk Pool.

I've pinpointed the exact date this story is taking place! And it makes sense, considering what book I think we're around!

March 17th, Saint Patrick's Day: The only past years in which that date fell on a Wednesday were 2010, 2004, and 1999. Therefore, this story takes place in March 1999, and that fits in with my theory that the Animorphs books take place from 1997 to 2000. March is just perfect. It being 1999 also presents a nasty anachronism with that Legolas poster. :D

Don't worry; all this nit-picking means I like your story, otherwise I wouldn't even bother leaving a review. You know that, don't you? Most people who dislike a fic will just ignore it and not leave a review. That's why my two stories have very few reviews.

Lastly, after some quick research on Wikipedia, I'm convinced that this story takes place around book 35, The Proposal. Cassie already has a Hork-Bajir morph, but the Nartec and the Garatron haven't been mentioned. Nor have Arbat or Estrid.

First: I wonder what Rachel's going to do with that green bottle. I have absolutely no clue; nothing in this chapter/story so far gives me a hint at what she's planning.

Second: For Jordan to have a poster of Legolas in her bedroom, it would have to be of the animated Legolas from Ralph Bakshi's 1978 version of The Lord of the Rings. Orlando Bloom did not play Legolas until 2001, and most fans concur that the Yeerk invasion had been thwarted by then.

In the books, Jordan reminded me of my sister. (In the real world, she was born in '96.) This story reminds me more of her, but my sister wouldn't want to go to a party she knew there would be drugs at, and in fact she knows no one who lives that kind of life.

Ironically (or whatever adverb), my name is Jordan.

The fact that this story will likely never be finished saddens me, because it is hilarious and awesome all at once.
