OH MY GOD my heart was beating SO fast when I was reading this. Poor Reid! Please continue, I need to know what happens to him! And this is such a fresh look on this relationship, so it's really interesting. I'd think that Reid would be more affected by Hotch's words, though, but I guess the news that he may never walk unassisted again takes precedence. Either way, can you please post a scene where Reid thinks about Hotch's words, maybe with the rest of the team or just Rossi or someone, and has to come to terms with his own feelings of guilt? And also show his struggles in dealing with yet another betrayal, after Gideon and his childhood?

Great ending! The story overall had a great plot and the concept was new to me. The diction was like sweet music and the story kept me on the edge of my seat.

This has been amazing start to end. I love how Spencer faced Aaron (even I can't call him Hotch anymore) and laid it all out for him. Spencer is always so underestimated, so I like how you gave him this quiet yet unquestionable strength to face and resolve this problem himself and in his own way. Absolutely fantastic. xo

I think this was the best of a lot of horrible outcomes that could have happened. And this was a good ending. I loved this story from start to finish and it will go on my reread list.

I am amazed how well you've captured Reid's true being. I have always known Spencer had the temperament of a lion. From time to time, we have seen that tenacity on the show.

I believe Reid turns out OK. Because of Hotch's cruelty, he won't be in the field for a very long time, it ever, but he'll be fine. For the time being, he'll stay with Rossi. Rossi won't baby him as much as Morgan. I'd like to think he'll find a girl, maybe his physical therapist or an old friend, and start a family.

Aaron, on the other hand, will have a difficult time dealing with the aftermath. He'll lose the majority of the BAU family he came to love. He will though, eventually find a recovery group.

I'm so proud of Reid here. It would have been easier for him to forgive Hotch, to say it was just a mistake and try to go on like nothing happened.

I'm sorry you're not writing more. I would love to see the rest of the team supporting Reid, and I really want to know if his leg heals enough for him to walk. Not even a one-year-later one-shot, where he finally contacts Hotch again, or they run into each other?

This was an amazing end to an amazing story, and part of me loves how you didn't drag it out with the healing that could never truly occur between them. Wow. Spence handled that very well. I loved how he handled that. I love that he made it clear that he was doing it not out of revenge, but because it was better for Hotch.

I love that Rossi told him he could come stay with him when he felt too smothered by over protective big bro Morgan lol. I only wish Spence and Hotch has been in a room with a two way mirror with Morgan and Dave on the other side. Morgan would be surprised at how well Reid handled himself. Rossi, I would imagine would be proud of Spencer.

I just wonder how Garcia would react to what Hotch did. It would probably shatter her faith that in humanity as well. Of course she'd mother hen Spence like crazy, that's for sure lol.
