I bet Max planned that while she was in the hospital. Like she was as gonna rob a bank; find out where the cameras are, link the security guards' patrol routes, and steal the money… then rewind so no one ever knows except for Max because she still has the money. I swear, she's somehow related to Stewie from Family Guy. This was great, man!

Only the pics from her room, eh? That sounds like there are more pics to be found! I love that Chloe would want to mess with herself first! Poor Joyce finding out like she did, too! I always like seeing your stories and updates, and this is no exception.

That idea is both awesome and disturbing. Seriously trippy to have future Chloe give past Chloe a message proving that she was the one who suggested the idea. Some of the idea anyway! Max Caulfield as a dirty minded prankster is something I can get behind as well. That shy geek image ain't gonna be fooling me for much longer.

And sympathy to Joyce for finding out about her daughter's... activities in probably the most horrific way possible, the only thing being worse being walking in while those photos were being taken!

This is a good short story and both Max and Chloe are in character. I do have a few points of critique, though.

I would have included some bits of description of the town being cleaned up: maybe have Chloe looking out the window and seeing the Oregon National Guard and saying something like 'Sergeant shitstain would be in his element about now' or maybe the news playing on the TV with the Prescott Estate being raided by an FBI SWAT/HRT team or something just to let us know that time has passed.

Secondly, I would have included something more at the end, like maybe Chloe staring at Max as she's listening to their recording and grinning like a child that's just got away with stealing cookies.

"What are you smiling at, Max?"
"Nothing..."

But that's just what I would have done. As it stands, We Have to Play is a good story. Thanks for writing it.

This was hilarious, I can see Chloe wanting to screw around with someone (even her past self) with Max's time powers. XD I love all your stories but especially the short light hearted ones!
