Your prologue is funny, delightly funny! aro mixes the polite phrasing "Forgive the sudden imposition", and reproching Carlisle's lack of contact... I guess that indeed, no visit in centuries from a friend begins to be rude. Aro cristicizing Cullen's diet, must be because of that diet that Aro trusts Carlisle . Cullen is so pro-life, pacifist, that he can be trusted with someone vulnerable. The threat is so nicely formulated! "Do not even attempt", the graphic description of consequences, then the dare "Then please try to tempt me. I could make due of a little entertainment". Poor Carlisle. Not keeping touch with his friend rewards him with an unwanting visitor and getting threaten by his own frienf/king. |
