I've enjoyed reading your story especially seeing Steph with a different POV. I really enjoyed seeing Steph openness in trying things..especially nice that she enjoyed cooking with Ela and did a good job of it. I admit I loved her telling Helen what she thought of her and their relationship. Steph was right about Frank and Grandma's lack of protection from Helen's abuse. Wonderful to see Steph and Ranger become so close. Thanks for the hours of good reading.

Okay, it has been a while since you worked on this story, but you really need to write a sequel. Many questions are left unanswered or ignored, and leaves a major void in this reader's mind. come on! Does Steph recover full or only partial mobility of her leg? What about her past? Do Ranger and his Babe marry? What about her family? Lula? Connie? What about including the personal lives of her Merry Men? Does she ever cook for the men? Pregnancy? On and on and on and on! It is time to write that sequel!

Thoroughly enjoying this story. Your take on Ranger in this chapte is just right! Wish JE felt the same. Can't wait to continue. Notice that you've stopped writing. Please don't! You've a great talent. I would very much like to read more long feature stories from you.

Great story. Write more when you can

I just found your story and absolutely loved it. I normally review each chapter, but I had to read it offline and just now got a chance to share my thoughts.

From the very beginning, you held me enthralled. I loved how the mystery unfolded, and how much more reasonable Stephanie was, without her memories of the belittling, guilt and shame she grew up receiving. She didn't have to be defensive and was able to use logic to think things out.

It was so great that although it was an enemy from Ranger's special ops work, the guy wasn't actually going after Steph because of HIM. Steph was always finding herself in the middle of danger because of stuff she stumbled into, and at least she finally remembered what Mendez looked like after surgery. It made the entire difference in the story.

The only thing I would have liked to happen, was for Steph to remember what a bane of her existence that Rodriguez was. :-) I wonder why he was so shy and then why he rolled his eyes that time and said something that the guys were infuriated by? I would have thought he'd respect her research skills, even if she had to learn them again.
