I read this a year or two ago, and I just came across it again. Gave me a few emotions. Thank you.

This was so well written I can't even -
Okay. I actually AVOIDED this fanfic for some time, because after I read the first three chapters I knew it was going to be heartbreaking. And now that I've taken the time to read the final chapters slowly and liesurely (like I do with poetry or those good old Tolkien books) I regret not reading it before.
Well, I do regret reading it now, a little, because I feel like my heart just shattered with sorrow and joy. The last line is so bittersweet - imagine, thousands of years, as the stars go out, Lloyd, the son of Garmadon, standing on a silent moon, recalling words that he had spoken so long ago on a different planet as a child - IT'S ABSOLUTELY PERFECT HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH IT. NO SERIOUSLY. HOW.
This is gonna stick. I know it. A week later I'll be wearing black and failing to eat junk food. If someone asks why, I can say that I'm crying for the son of Garmadon, his old friend, and all the stars dimming in the empty darkness. Because it's not fair, never was. And we can't do anything about it.
Holy cow, HECK this story was amazing.

This was a heartbreaking read. The story plot was great and the grammar was good. For me, the clincher of the story was the last line... Because life isn't fair. And Lloyd has had that lesson hammered into so many times.
