pt1oef chapter 39 . 4/29 It is a miracle that you continue your story for so long time. |
ProminentDawn chapter 61 . 8/22/2019 Ok. Wow. Finished this and I felt like I didn't have a right to review until now. You have blown my mind away, Lunarelle. Just wow. My standards are slipping right now due to me trying to finish this in a couple of days, but I finally did it! It was worth it as well. Again, thanks for the journey. I think I actually saw a ray of light for the first time in a while. |
Dastin chapter 24 . 6/1/2019 I’m really enjoying the story, and am going to continue reading. It’s been so long since this was written that it may be irrelevant. The characterization here strikes me as very, very dramatic. I’ve experienced anxiety, panic attacks, severe depression. I’ve known people with PTSD on a debilitating level. None of them (or myself) were near as dramatic as Sylvanas and Faith. It just strikes me as so ridiculously extreme that it requires a lot of suspension of disbelief to keep reading. Reminds me a lot of the second Twilight book, which was a slog to read when it came out let alone these years later. It may be subjective though. |
Sureena2 chapter 1 . 5/30/2019 Great story. Some of the scenarios hit close to home. You depicted Sylvanas excellently. Looking forward to reading your other works. |
Devil chapter 2 . 5/2/2019 i got serious feels ... signs of reading a good story :,) |
HollowOfDarkness chapter 18 . 3/27/2019 Isn’t Cult Of the Damned in Diablo as well as Warcraft? |
Viscount Anarchy chapter 25 . 8/29/2018 This plot is nonsensical. Like, you've already done the whole "oh I can't stand to be a part from you" thing while forcefully having them separated. Might have even done it twice at this point, I forget, since it's a completely forgettable plot line. And then you have Faith get raped. Why? It's literally the worst plot aspect a writer can chose to include in a story. I want to like this story, but then shit like this happens. It should have more impact than just being another checkbox being marked off as a setup for more hurt/comfort/drama scenes. Like at this point, Faith might as well just get killed, since that seems like the next logical step. And I'd find it hard to care. |
Viscount Anarchy chapter 24 . 8/29/2018 Super random for the conversation about sex to come up *now*. They've been together for decades at this point, right? Seems super random and arbitrary. And rape is brought up again. Definitely one of the weakest chapters so far. And it's like the characters themselves know it. Faith says something like everytime they get close, something random happens for them to get angry at each other. Drama for Drama's sake is shallow and meaningless. It's hard to take the story seriously. And it's hard to tell which one is more mentally unstable, but I actually think it's Faith, with the whole suicide thing. Sylvanas *died* yet Faith is crazier than her. |
Viscount Anarchy chapter 23 . 8/29/2018 Kinda ridiculous that Faith keeps giving Sylvanas orders. Also, I'm already tired of all the injuries. Every other chapter half the drama revolves around one of the other getting an injury and the other arguing over treating it. This is what, the sixth time? It's already overdone and there's still like another 40 chapters to go, so I expect there will be a lot more of it. |
Viscount Anarchy chapter 17 . 8/28/2018 If that is implied rape there, I am disappointed. It just doesn't really add anything to the story that mental and physical torture doesn't. It doesn't make the story darker or grittier, or even more dramatic. It just feels shallow. It's even worse that it's more or less just a throw away line. |
Viscount Anarchy chapter 16 . 8/28/2018 I'm getting real mixed signals about their relationship. In the first few chapters of the story, It just seemed like Faith had been falling for Sylvanas, but nothing had really happened, just future promises. But now you're saying it's been a hundred years and the only reason they weren't actually married was a technicality. Where's the build up? It's seems like all the build up has already happened, and you're just throwing it out there in small flashbacks. It feels like a cop-out. Also, switching PoV's really destroys any potential mystique that may have been building. Not to mention, it makes the plot drag on a bit, reading half of each scene twice. |
Viscount Anarchy chapter 14 . 8/28/2018 She's been in the Undercity for 4 years already? Also, why are *both* characters bipolar/schizo? I get that it creates drama, but drama for drama's sake just feels arbitrary and random. Makes it hard to care about the characters. |
Viscount Anarchy chapter 13 . 8/28/2018 Sylvanas points out my biggest complaint so far, and that is that Faith isn't trained. She's not a soldier, she'd not a trained mage (yet she's in charge of a bunch of others?). She is unstable from constant breakdowns. She shouldn't be anywhere near the battlefield. Heck, I think a chapter or two ago she even gave Sylvanas an order, and she followed it. It's not about her being the protagonist or whatever, there just needs to be some internal consistency within the story, because it's sort of all over the place. |
Viscount Anarchy chapter 9 . 8/28/2018 Vereesa says that Sylvanas would have been able to kill Arthas. I get that it's grief talking, but the whole reason Sylvanas is dead is because she couldn't kill Arthas, and he wasn't even the Lich King yet. Just random drama, I guess. |
Viscount Anarchy chapter 7 . 8/28/2018 This chapter is weird. Mostly since it's a different POV. Sylvanas just doesn't feel unique yet. Maybe with time. |
