I'm so glad you made a one shot to tell Shanks' side of the story and how it ended, because I wanted that, since I read Afraid this Time.

Really nice and sweet. I love the angst and love in this story. And hurrah for ASL :D

I'm glad they found Benn. Shanks had been so worried! Also in the previous fic in this au.
I imagine all Benn's messages only arrived after Shanks had already left (or well, never made it) but the former would be funnier.
It's a nice au and I like the reappearance of several canon elements. Like ASL, WB adopting kids here and there, Luffy wanting to be like Shanks...

That was reeeeally nice. Enjoyed reading the whole lot of it.

Is it wrong that I am uber excited about the ASL trio still meeting up? I dunno, their existence seems to make this world even better for me:) But Whitebeard's family and Shank's herd are all really cool too! AU's are weird cause they tend to scrabble a lot of the relationships, but I like how you mixed up these! And Ace is a half elf! XD His race makes him an outcast just as his existence as the Pirate king's son does! You did well in this:)
