I love how clueless Bilbo is to how Thorin or himself feels for each other. I'm so not looking forward to how they react to certain deaths in the company or the gold sickness. I hope you come back to this one day, I really liked how you wrote it so far.

I originally read this fic on ao3 in 2014 and as a child I loved it to bits. I was very sad when I saw it got taken down, but then cheered once more when I found it was still here on !

I just wanted to say, this fic has always been one of my favorites out of the hobbit fandom of all time. Even though it's unfinished, I still come back and reread it whenever I get the chance. The company's reactions are just the best, and you have definitely 100% influenced my taste in fanfic. I unabashedly and unshamedly love this story.

Why does that sound familiar...

Hi loving this so far. Just to let you know, the term for 9 - Ponto would be Bilbo's Great uncle, making Rosa his first cousin once removed (I'm pretty sure thats the case. Rosa and Bungo would have been cousins. My family is like this, but to simplify I just call them cousins in general cause I'm close with all of them and my second cousin once removed is a good friend of mine. I got curious one day and worked everything out.)

So Pansy, Largo and Ponto would be great uncles, Lily a great aunt, and Rosa and Fosco should be first cousins once removed. If that all makes sense.

While I personally don't like the whole background thoron bilbo flirting thing, this is interesting in that it's a hobbit reading/watching story... if there is a lord of the rings sequel I wonder how they will react like how moria has a balrog and goblins beneath it or how bilbo was slowly being twisted by the ring much like how gollum was or perhaps that gollum himself was a hobbit called smeagol and nearly 600 years old.

I love what you written so far. Are you planning to continue this story?
