The Lavender/Ginny scene has earned a snort. Love it!

This story is freash take on this pairing that I really enjoyed. I have to give you props for doing a great job with the epilogue. It wasn't projecting a perfect future on them, but way more realistic and respectful of these character's personalities. Like the way they had opposite reactions to the dreams. Here and earlier on you acknowledge the fact that nobody would be right after the war. Yet you managed a story that is sweet and realistic and not a total angst fest. Well done!

Ginny and Lavender are great, cheering this story on right along with me.

Well I wasn't done with the beard yet but it's easier to picture him without it. Good job balancing fluff with keeping them in character, and there was so much wonderful fluff here.

I like how you had her go about the conversation with Draco. How she gets that she can't offend his pride and gives herself permission to do a bit of lying for the greater good.

Also the letters at the end are delightful.

Did she just give Severus Snape a CBD bath? I'm totally okay with that. Except for the fact that I wasn't in it with him.

Also I really wish I could get drunk with Ginny and Lavender now.

Love at first sight is dumb, but intensely attracted at first sight? Yes, please. And I'm loving the beard. It helps with the complete change in how she sees him. This chapter was even better than my ridiculous expectations at the end of the last one.

I am ridiculously excited about how you ended this chapter. The set up for whatever happens next is simply brilliant.

Ginny is perfect here. I was ready to rip the note out of Hermione's hands too. The succinct, direct nature complete with the SS was perfect too.

I love this take on Severus, happy but still snarky and avoiding people (i.e still himself).
