I like that there are hiccup x oc out there that are good like this one i feel lime there are way to many hiccstrid stories out there and i despite it, like i get it they are like meant to be or whatever but COME ON astrid treated hiccup poorly and he insulted and discouraged him, anyways all aound very great fic

I loved this story, you have a unique and powerful story-telling ability. My uncle is a licensed family counselor and I am studying psychology and counseling myself, so I felt compelled to respond to the situation with your son. I would like to say that if your son has been diagnosed with adhd and odd that those are basically cop-out diagnoses made by psychiatrists trying to push drugs. Unless your child truly has adhd - and trust me you would know - those medications will have no benefit and may have many adverse affects. In cases with children counseling often proves far more effective than drugs, and in instances of violent or threatening behavior said counseling is typically covered by insurance. I do apologize for the rant and for the personal nature of this review - I simply felt compelled to speak in this case.

I noticed you haven't uploaded a new chapter yet, and honestly, that's a good thing right now. Don't you DARE force yourself to slave away over a couple of words on a digital paper that you won't even be satisfied with once you're done. Spend time with your family. Get to know your son again; Become the role model YOU want to be for your kids. I speak from experience, there is nothing more important in times like this than sitting your family down and assuring both them and yourself that you are all one big, happy family, and that there isn't SHIT in this fucking world that can lessen the love you all have for each other.

Oh and by the way? Fuck that principal, too. I hope he burns.

Really sorry to hear about your family troubles. But I will say this is one of the best friend stories I've ever met with the most original ideas. Kind of felt like you were going more with an Astrid a story. But who doesn't love hiccup coming back as a badass.
