I'm not really sure if you'd care to know this but here goes
My best friend has been going through some really tough times, and she used to get a kick out of pretending she'd died and watching my responses. Well, if you put it that way, she wasn't truly a friend at all
But I still care for her, because we were tight once.
Anyway, yeah. The assumed death of a best friend is much more than enough to bring at least one person closer than before.
