Having Aramis remember what happened as he goes along Tréville searching for his lost friends was well thought out.
As for the French included, I think you're the first one I came across that knew the correct plural for "monsieur"! Congrats ! :-) But I was surprised that La Sainte Larme was okay in your AN while it was incorrectly spelled throughout the story (larmé not being a French word)along with "lieu" that should read "lieue(s)"...
