Beautiful story. Sometimes the bros take advantage of Mikey's gullibility and innocence to the point where he gets hurt...which he did.

I was not happy with April after this episode...I mean she had a right to be upset, but she acted like the turtles didn't care much less wanted to pretend everything never happened so she could have a normal life. Granted the turtles are partly responsible for the mutation but they were willing to fix their mistake and never hold anything against her.

I'm grateful atleast Raph doesn't blame Mikey, for being honest. They had to tell her sooner or later. Did you ever think of making a sequel to this story...the aftermath and etc.

Okay time to leave a proper review. THIS WAS AWESOME AND SAD AND TURTLERIFIC. Thats all I have to say.

Too bad the results were still the same for the turtles...As much as I don't blame April for being mad, to just assume the turtles did it on purpose, especially after Mikey was kidnapped and almost eaten,...not cool. I don't think Leo blames Mikey like Donnie does...but probably wishes Mikey waited a bit, even though they couldn't just lie to her.

There should be a part two to this...Reflecting April thinking about what happened that day, but mostly with Mikey. Then Donnie and Mikey moments.

Wow, this was amazong! I wish Nick could have done it! But I don't think they'll ever do something like this :( But this had an amazing plot, I loved it! Keep up the great work, see ya! ;)

This.. nick, this is how you write a good episode! This could've been so good if they would've done this in the true episode. But then again, this is a kids show so I don't think they could've shown something like this, especially Mikey being kindapped/hurt and thrown off a building, and falling to his death. But I loved this version of the episode nevertheless.

I can't even imagine what Raph must've felt when it hapepned, seeing your little brother getting taken by a giant bat, while you can't do anything about it, and it's your fault in a way. He was in control of the rope, and if he would've gotten Mieky up a bit, he wouldn't have been taken in the first place. I'm not even bothering lecturing Raphie, because he won't be able to hear me anyways, but in case you were trying

NOt to mention how Mikey must be feeling at the moment. Being kidnapped by a mutant, without a proper mind, that was originally a nice man and the father of you best human friend. That must be really hard, especially being trapped at such a height. Without weapons, grappling hook, or anything that could help him right now. And on top of that Kirby wanted to eat him, hurt him. Or the fact that Kirby is currently eating his constume.

Though gotta admit, that Mikey's plan was both stupid and smart. It would be smart if no one would be rescuing him, in that case it was trying to fly Kirby's back, or getting eaten. But in this case, his brothers were on their way. Not to mention Mikey could've died when he fell off the building. i think it was very sweet how Kirby still remembered April, kinda, and stopped with hurting Mikey, or raging when he heard his daughter's name. He still loves his daughter very much. Though whatever happened to him during the mutation, didn't prevent him from completely stopping.

But that doesn't matter because thank you Kirby, thank you for saving Mikey in the end!

Though it must've been a horrifying experience, falling to your death like that, and knowing that you're going to die, and basically accepting it. Not to mention that his brothers couldn't do anything but watch.
Of course Mikey had to say something like that, typically Mikey. Even despite the situation, and his injuries he'll still joke. Loved that part, and expecially how overprotective his bro's are, they are obviously scared out of their shell.
Even though it was a re-write, I loved how you stayed true to the episode, like MIkey telling April about it (I still can't understand why his bro's blamed him, because they coudln't lie to April about somthing like that) Luckily Raph doesn't blame Mikey, at least he gets it.

It's your story after all, but I really think this deserves another chapter! But your story, your choice after all.

Also, yes Mikey, bats can see xD
