Aaaahhhhh, I love this so much! It's an angsty AU, but this is such a sweet, lovely fic. Roy and Riza are too adorable. I love how they'll use a form of communication of their own making. (I'm only just now leaving a review, but I've probably read this three times already, tbh. It's so, so good.)

giving roy his sight back always struck me as wasted potential character development, I do hope you write more oneshots for this later

Oh, this is so sweet! I'd never thought about Hawkey losing her voice, so this was a new take and well done. I love the men learning sign language so they could communicate with Hawkeye! Also that Hawkeye and Mustang have their own language from when they were young that was resurrected when they needed it. And then there were all the small details, like Roy forcing himself to memorize the cab company number (poor Roy, he did love his car). The "I wake up believing that I really did lose you" and "I just want to see you again, Riza" lines are heartbreaking. But Roy having learned how to sign that one important sentence! So sweet! Great job on this story!

I also like to think that Roy stayed blind after the Promised Day, it just seems too much of a fix-it for him to be healed, but I've never thought about Riza loosing her voice too after that injury! The team learning ASL for her was so sweet, that must've really been the best surprise :')
Oh and that secret tapping language they're using, is it similar to Morse? That was my first thought when I read it :0

Oh, I think people would like reading the series of one-shots once you're done with (or need diversion from) the four stories. It's fun, and refreshingly devoid of angst.

"Raising his index and middle fingers, Roy pointed them toward his eyes before flicking his wrist and directing them toward the desks of the two Second Lieutenants" Omg when I finally understood, I laughed SO hard XD That is SO Roy, he would totally do that.

The thing with the Philosopher's stone and Jean is both very brave (of you to insert this) and tragic - no wonder poor Jean beats himself up about it - we all would. Even more so am I excited to read that the boys learned sign language just for her - hell yeah they would! :D

I also enjoyed the description of the touches and conversations between them. The whole evening conversation was beautiul and when I realized (or more guessed) what Roy signed ro Riza, I gasped, too! It's so very sweet omg and I love how Riza reacted to it. As I told you, this beautiful one shot really makes me regret that this didn't happen in canon, for a month or half a year or so; I couldn't bear if it was permanent though D:
