This is beautifully written, funny, powerful, and generally great. I especially like that Sirius didn't die, that you actually had a complete and happy ending (no "they have a happy relationship but Voldemort just kidnapped Harry; read the sequel to find out the rest", or "they all die but they were happy while they lived"), and (very specifically) the scene in which the ring becomes a peach gummy on Lord Voldemort's hand. This is MUCH better than the whole horcrux hunt deal.

I have been staying away from fanfiction where Snape turned out to actually be Harry's father instead of just being a father figure but I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did too.
I really enjoyed reading this story. Though there were some mistakes regarding 'you're' and 'your' it didn't really bother me. (We all make mistakes. I have issues with then and than. Can't get it right)
I also liked how you managed to incorporate Sirius into this. Admittedly, I am neutral when it comes to Sirius Black but he added some comedy that was really fun to read about.
Your style of writing is very appealing and your dialogue is well done. I know how hard that can be but you did very well.

Reading the AN after every chap, I noticed that you wrote all this before OOTP came out. It left me a tad confused. It's been a while since I read the books, but didn't Harry's connection to Voldemot become apparant in the fifth book for the first time? If so, I suppose you made a very good guess that that was going to happen since that's what you wrote.

Also, as someone who is an obvious fan of Severus Snape, I am very interested in hearing your raction to his grand revelation at the very end and the way it all ended for this amazing character.

Thank you for what no doubt was a lot of effort in writing this fanfic. Especially for it being the first one you ever wrote. A home run for sure.

Sure, Snape, of course you want Harry to leave Draco beating the shit out of Hermione while Harry runs off to find you and you eventually amble on down to, again eventually, "stop" the fight and hope there's something left of Hermione, maybe...ugh. Hogwarts professors are so pro-bullying it's pathetic.

And naturally Severus was such a good little minion to fucking Albus that he followed the old bastard's orders and broke up with Lily for absolutely no good reason.
