Yeah I’m coming here late in the game, but my god does this fulfill the crack ship need for Azulaang that I hate admitting to myself. Permission to request a future installment of 50 sentences that takes an AU look at Azula and Aang and the alternative future I’d him establishing Republic City with her insight and future air and firebending babes. Because secretly I like to imagine he’s studying policy at the Fire Kingdom to start developing those ideas, and the alternative history look would be fascinating to read between these two.

Oh my, i love this fic!
So beautifully written, the characters are IC and the pace was wonderful.
The best of all was the accuracy of Azula's mental illness, it was truly realistic, specially that ending. She'll never be completely ok, but Aang will be there for her, keeping her safe, being her anchor.

Outstanding! Seriously, loved the structure, the rhythm of the prose, the gradual build up. Really well done and respectful of Azula, Aang, and Zuko. You pretty much captured why I always thought these two would make an interesting couple.

Unlike many people, I dont actually find Azula/Aang to be a strange pairing. The calm mind of Aang seems like the perfect person to be used to help get Azula back into a proper state of mind and I find the typical 'Aang helps Mentally ill Azula' plot to be WAY more believable, and interesting, than Aang falling in love with Katara at the age of twelve (for no other reason than that she's pretty) and staying that way until death.
