Well, that was a ride! John and Skynet each becoming the other by the end and that being Skynet’s downfall…! Amazing. Absolutely the opposite of anti-climactic. I’m so glad I found this fix, it’s been a joy to read!

Idk why the movie would get bad reviews-I thought it was badass! I loved it, and I'm interested to see where you're going with this story. :)

Fantastic Story! It's what Terminator Genisys and the untitled sequence should have been. How I wish the creators of that mess of a movie consulted you and had you as their director and screenwriter because this... this was superb! Sublime! FANTASTIC!

John Connor...oh man the feels. The mission was finally over and although he was now a full T-3000, I can't help but feel he's really cool now xP

I was hoping for a bit of an epilogue. How are they going to reboot Pops? How are they going to get out of the facility? What will become of Kate and John now that he's more machine than man (in body)? What about Sarah and Kyle? They're slap-bang in the middle of a facility and are pretty much wanted terrorists, will General Robert Brewster be enough to get them out of such a sticky situation? Are they going to reveal the truth. And if they did, would that prompt people to try and make Skynet again?

But, even with those questions and so on, I'm just glad, for the first time since T-2, there's a ahppy ending and that Skynet finally, unequivocally, lost. Great story. Thank you for such an awesome read :D

I love that you included more of O'Brien in this. He was so freaking great in the movie and I wish we could have seen more of him.

Hey there, just wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed this fic! I liked the premise of John being slowly changed instead of instantly consumed - it prolongs the drama and gave a good reason why John is not automatically a villain the second he's completely consumed. I also liked the way you rewrote the movie events - it wasn't a boring trek through the Stations of the Movie Canon. I liked how you handled the little bit of romance here; it could be an important plot point, but didn't distract or take over the story (I hate Token Romances and Red String Strangulation). I really liked going into detail about John's mechanical-ness. I hate to sound like I'm badmouthing other people, but some Genisys fics...forget that part. I liked how we got to see his computer-like thought processes and his screen-saver-like dreams. And it was a nice touch at the end with Skynet becoming irrational, and John being the pure logical machine for once.

If anything, I think the final battle could have been longer. And I would have liked to see an epilogue. But I understand not wanting to add to a story after you've lost interest. It sounds complete enough as is.

Man, I loved this story so much. I waited in anticipation for each chapter the moment I found this story. Now that it's over; it's like a part of me is gone xD.

Thank you for giving us fellow Genisys fans a story to fall in love with. Your portryal of John was fantastic; and don't beat yourself up for getting sidetracked. It happens to the best of us. Just keep being you and don't give up.

The interaction between Sarah and the now human John was very cute and I liked her interaction with Kyle too.

I can't wait for the epilogue, I like this ending because it shows that even though John is a machine and went full mode, there is still part of him that is not ruled by Sky Net. Granted, he never was in this fic, but I think in the movie part of the reason why he acted as he was, was because he was tired of being the savior, of having all of this thrust on him that he wanted another way -as he told Reese- to give himself the dream life he never had. I am glad he found Kate here and she brought back his humanity.

I like Jason as evil and I wonder if that was real pain or a mmory from when I was less was a perfect line the jhon from the movies was like of a living McGuffin not a person genyses so in the end when terminator fsnbase goes to flame war over the quality will we the resitance win or the critic dictatorship over filmmakers its not like its possibl star warsis going threw it right now

I loved this ending and you can call me a sucker for happy endings but I have been into them lately, and I think this is perfect because John would have remained as he is if it wasn't for Kate. And I think that deep down as Kyle observes, he is a man who has suffered so much and is just tired, he doesn't want to feel again. And we have all been there but John has been there times a million and I am glad that Kate brought him back and reminded him that just as humanity can suck sometimes, it can also be very rewarding for those little moments of happiness. I can't wait to read the epilogue.
