I truly enjoyed this story. Kudos and thank you for writing it!

Wonderful story, difficult at times due to the physical damage and the kidnapping and Neal's mom. It wrapped up well just as I have hoped for, guilty verdict and prison for the bad guys, Uncle Neal with Will, Kevin moving to NY to be part of Neal's life with Will, friendships between Peter and Diana and Neal sustained, and surprisingly, a potential reunion for Neal and his mom. Neal is a very good person, never bitter, never complaining. Thanks for writing him that way, it is true to how he was portrayed. Thanks for writing and sharing.

Diana is fantastic. She is going to bring closure to families that lost children, though the families that adopted may suffer. Very difficult. It's brave of Neal to reach out to his Mom, heartbreaking that he knew he never had her love, that he was never enough.

Heartbreaking to see Neal in such serious circumstances. I am worried that he and Peter and Will and El are not being protected by police or FBI. They are all at risk. I appreciated El's internal thoughts regarding Neal and how he was a con and as long as Peter survived she could live with it. Interesting, honest. She cares for Neal but it is a different relationship.

Heartbreaking, all of it. To have a twin and to lose the twin without understanding what happened and to be told to forget he ever existed. William's mom, beaten and dead. She seemed like an interesting person, though clearly she was in trouble by the time she brought her son to Neal. How did she find Neal, and think him to be Michael? Poor Neal.

I couldn't have asked for a better ending to such an amazing story. You managed to tie things up in a way that left everyone happy but still reflected the many scars that were as yet completely healed. I'm glad you left the possibility open for Neal to find some resolution with Meredith. Hope is a wonderful thing. And the best part is, Peter will still always be there at his side-right where he belongs (of course, he'll probably have a little more grey hair with both Neal AND Kevin to contend with). I hope we hear from you again in the not too distant future. Well done.
