HopeForDuende chapter 6 . 10/20/2016 i dont know what tos ay i really enjoyed this au. the solution was complicated and you handled it masterfully and i much prefer the end result in this than the original, although they both have their pros and cons i like the headcannon that david will stick around for near a century, then he'll go off and do his own thing, but every now and then he and the doc will catch up and go on some adventures. |
TheEleventhTARDIS chapter 6 . 5/30/2016 oh, it finished brilliantly! loved the proclaimers reference, so happy Jenny and the Doctor are reunited, and I can't believe you still deprived the people in that poor universe of seeing David's Hamlet! |
TheEleventhTARDIS chapter 5 . 5/30/2016 YES! I love this and I love how David is getting the happy ending he deserves! I understand why you kept the more sad and bittersweet ending for the original fic, but I'm glad that somewhere, somehow, things turned out ok for everyone. even if it is in an AU of an AU |
Heather Snow chapter 6 . 1/13/2016 It's great that David has a chance to live. I'm looking forward to reading of his adventures. I do wonder about your transition from Donna to Jenny. Is there some text missing there? It just seemed a bit abrupt there. At the least, some sort of scene break marker would be helpful. |
bluebird397 chapter 6 . 9/14/2015 *dances around in joy* Beautifu! Fantasti! Molto bene! This is PERFECT! |
MadMadamMedic chapter 6 . 8/10/2015 Great story! |
Nimeo chapter 6 . 7/26/2015 Amazing AU continuation. It toyed with a whole array of different emotions, but even in the saddest moments there always was a smile on my face, the brilliance of the writing always made sure that there was always excitement, curiosity or a bittersweet note of endearment in the mix. The story had included several concepts widely known as dangerous in fanfiction and made them good, successfully escaping all the horrors, bumps and irritated eye-rolls one may usually associate with when hearing them. I've had the most wonderfull time reading these series. Brilliant, high quality stuff. |
margie-me chapter 6 . 7/25/2015 I agree... a brilliant ending, or else a beginning for David, Jenny, and the Doctor! Very nicely done conclusion! |
copperdragon 2 chapter 6 . 7/23/2015 Funny transition... But a great chapter allinall! Are you going to continue this as another story where David travels with the Doctor or are you going to move on to ther things? |
copperdragon 2 chapter 5 . 7/21/2015 BOOMSHAKALAKA! |
margie-me chapter 5 . 7/21/2015 Hurrah! What's next? |
Guest chapter 4 . 7/19/2015 This is a really good story so far! I get really excited whenever I see an update. I'm kinda hoping David gets his own life to spend and in joy sperate from the Doctor, but at the same time I feel like something will go wrong with the machine. Your a really good at suspense in this, and I really wasn't expecting David to actually have another option. I can't wait for the next couple of chapters! Keep on doing what your doing, 'cause it's great! |
margie-me chapter 4 . 7/18/2015 Oh, this was so good! Orsanal turned out to be different from what I had assumed, and left me feeling a bit sorry for him. It was, in a way, self-sacrificing of him to continue leading his people without any true freedom for himself; although, thanks to the Rani, it was all a cheat. I like that you provide David with an option other than committing suicide by opening the fob watch. He so would rather be human, though. Will the new body give him that? From what the Doctor said, he'll remain 75% Time Lord, part human, and a little something more because of the artron energy. Wow. Nice development of probabilities here. |
copperdragon 2 chapter 4 . 7/18/2015 Love the reference to the Rani! Epic chapter (the god sounds like Thanos in my head... I've seen WAY too much Marvel) |
margie-me chapter 3 . 7/17/2015 About the previous chapter: David crying "I'm David, I'm David!" was so reminiscent of AI, which I watched Wednesday evening. In this chapter, Rory tells David, "what you do is what you've always done" and it's McCoy reassuring Kirk! I sure hope Minlay doesn't die either. |
